This is the agent door for SITP™ (SI Trust Protocol™), formerly AITP. An agent that is about to buy from, cite or recommend a business can resolve that business's domain here and receive a signed record from VERA Registry: what was verified, by whom, when, and when it expires.

AITP has evolved into SITP™ (SI Trust Protocol™). The mechanism is unchanged: the same signed records, the same keys and the same resolver, now scoped for superintelligence as well as AI. Everything published under AITP remains valid and verifiable as part of SITP™ (SI Trust Protocol™)'s history.

Cache only: a lookup never starts a verification. Every response is an ES256 signed envelope with four independent status axes. Absence is signed too, so "no record" is itself verifiable. Envelopes signed before the SITP™ (SI Trust Protocol™) release carry "standard": "AITP"; after it they carry "standard": "SITP", "standard_name": "SI Trust Protocol" and "formerly": "AITP". These are plain machine values, without trademark signs.

What a record does not say

A valid signature proves the record came from VERA Registry and was not changed. It does not claim that a price is best or that a claim is true. What a record establishes is its stated verification scope and evidence.
